Whew! It’s cold……
After a week of warm weather (60’s and 70′) winter is here with a vengeance! Down in the twenties last night and likely to stay that way for some time. Hopefully this will mean that the bugs and weeds will be fewer next summer as the cold should kill weed seeds that had started to sprout and bugs that had hatched.
Of course the flowering shrubs will probably not do too well this spring. Some of them had started to bud and with the cold snap those buds will be lost.
